Hello 👋! Thank you for agreeing to participate in Free Periods HK’s “Menstrual Equity Influencer Ambassador” campaign! To effectively promote menstrual health education and break the stigma surrounding menstruation, we’ve designed the following guidelines for your reference. These will help you share your menstruation bracelet story on social media and raise awareness of menstrual health issues! 📣
1️⃣ Choice of Sharing Themes
To make your content more engaging and authentic, you may consider choosing one of the following themes in your sharing:
- Creative Process 📸:
- Share the creative process of your menstruation bracelet: colour combinations, charm selections, and creative inspiration.
- Photograph the finished bracelet and explain the meaning behind the design. For example, “The red beads on this bracelet symbolise menstruation as a natural and powerful force!”
- Personal Story:
- Share your perspective on menstruation, such as your first experience with menstruation, or your feelings about stigma surrounding menstruation.
- Encourage viewers to bravely express their experiences and promote a positive and natural atmosphere for the discussion of menstruation.
- Call to Action to Support FPHK:
- Encourage your followers to participate in the 528 World Menstrual Hygiene Day event or donate directly to support FPHK. For example: “Join our #PeriodFriendlyHongKong campaign and become a menstrual equity advocate!”
2️⃣ Suggested Sharing Formats
You can choose one of the following formats to present your content, making it easier for viewers to engage:
- 📹 Short Video Sharing:
- Film a short video of you creating your menstruation bracelet, documenting the process and finished product. Add simple narration or subtitles to explain your design ideas.
- Film a video sharing your views on menstruation in a relaxed and natural tone to connect with your audience.
- 📸 Image Sharing:
- Take beautiful photos of your menstrual bracelet and pair them with texts about menstruation to encourage interactions.
- Add appropriate decorations, such as a red background or elements related to your daily life, to enhance visual impact.

Tips to make your content more special and engaging:
- 💡 Incorporate your personal style: Add your usual content style, such as humour, simplicity, or a relatable approach, to make your sharing feel more natural.
- 💡 Incorporate Hong Kong elements: For example, use local landmarks as a backdrop for your bracelet photos, or combine Hong Kong culture (like cha chaan tengs or wet markets) to tell your menstrual story.
- 💡 Add interactive questions: Ask your audience “What was your first menstruation experience like?” or “How would you design your own menstruation bracelet?”
🎯 Sharing Examples (English):
