Free Periods Hong Kong
is a charity supporting those facing menstrual challenges and working to end period poverty.
What Is Period Poverty?
Period poverty refers to the scarcity of menstrual products due to financial constraints, leading to problems such as limited frequency of changing for clean menstrual products, a lack of hygienic menstrual products, and subsequent health and social impacts.

Change

In our years of menstrual work, we have realised that there are Hong Kong menstruators and females (especially from low-income groups) who intentionally lower the quality and changing frequency of menstrual product to save money, causing recurring period-related physical, mental and financial stress – and we’d like to help eliminate such distress.
