What Is Period Poverty?
Period poverty refers to scarcity of menstrual products due to financial factors, leading to problems such as limited frequency on changing for clean menstrual products, lacking hygienic menstrual products, and subsequent health and social impact.

In our years of menstrual work, we have realised that there are Hong Kong menstruators and females (especially from low-income groups) who intentionally lower the quality and changing frequency of menstrual product to save money, causing recurring period-related physical, mental and financial stress – and we’d like to help eliminate such distress.
