In 2023, Free Periods HK, with full support from our lead sponsor Hactl (Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited), collaborated with One Bite Design Studio to organise the “Be My Buddy Buddy” exhibition and workshop series. 🩸
Our first public exhibition of the series coincided with the World Menstrual Hygiene Day on May 28 and took place at Form Society, an exhibition place who shared the vision of bringing community closer together. With a range of activities from interactive displays, film screenings to workshops designed for different age group, this flagship event has been positively received by the public, and we have since been bringing the exhibition to other local institutions.
Together, we are committed to co-creating a period-friendly society where menstrual education and access to menstrual products are readily available and normalised. This partnership will empower everyone to understand and embrace menstruation, breaking the stigma and taboo surrounding the topic.
We believe that everyone deserves access to menstrual education and products, and we are proud to be part of this initiative. Let’s work together to make a positive change in our community!
